(Kent and Isdell)Muhtar Kent the chief executive of Coca Cola was elected as the new Chairman by the board of directors as the former chairman Neville Isdell retired following the companies annual meeting in Atlanta.Kent had also been the chief executive of Efes beverage group which is a major shareholder of Coca Cola Icecek.Under him the revenues of the company tripled and the market capitalisation increased by 250%.He became the CEO of Coca Cola on July 1,2008 after Neville Isdell became the chairman.
As always,expectations are high from Mr Kent and is speculated that CC goes to new heights with him as the boss.
